If you’re having trouble when choosing the color and size for your tee. Change the size to: “Choose an option” then all colors will be available. Unfortunately some brands/colors/sizes are limited. Once you choose the color, then the sizes should show what we have in stock. I hope this helps out.
Do you think our images look blurry when you zoom in? You might be right. They do, and its on purpose! We use compression services to make our images load faster on our website. Don’t worry, if you zoom in and see the image is pixelated you will not notice this on your printed tee or garment.
We were able to save over 68% of our server space and speed by compressing all our images for this website. When we did this in December of 2020 that was over 6,050 images to be compressed! So if you’re concerned about your tee looking pixelated you can stop worrying.

An additional customs and tax fee can occur on international orders. This fee is not in our control and is assessed by your local customs office. My order should be here by now, but I still don’t have it. What should I do?
Before getting in touch with us, please help us out by doing the following:
● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address
● Ask your local post office if they have your package

We work with a print-on-demand drop shipper. They have locations worldwide, so depending on where you are, your orders are printed and shipped from the facility that can do it most efficiently!

I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?
We’re so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help us resolve this for you quickly, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org within a weeks’ time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. We’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!

Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact us at Dan@airplanetees.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and we’ll sort that out for you.
Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?
At this time, we don’t offer exchanges. If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out our sizing charts—we have one for every item listed on our store, in the product description section. Though rare, it’s possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let us know at Dan@airplanetees.com within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and we’ll send you a new one, or issue a refund!

We source our products from multiple suppliers. It’s possible you selected products from more than one store and the shipping involved from each would have to be covered. If you see more than two shipping charges please contact us directly so we can manually run your order and provide you with a discount on shipping. While it would be very unlikely. It is possible.

DTG or direct-to-garment printing
DTG, is a printing method that sprays the ink onto the garment. The ink then soaks into the fibers of the garment. It’s like printing on paper, but on clothing.
The main advantage of DTG is that it’s easy to print one-offs because there’s almost no setup time. This saves us overhead and allows us to run our business with lower costs. Once you place an order for a single t-shirt on airplaneTees.com, our fulfillment center automatically receives the order, prints our design on the airplane tee, and sends it directly to you.
DTG printing allows us to operate at a lower cost which lets us offer more choices on each product since they are printed on-demand. If we had to hold each design in each size and color we would have to charge more for each shirt to cover our overhead costs.
With DTG, you can still order in bulk just contact us for our bulk rates on clothing options.
We are continuing to fulfill orders, although fulfillment time will take longer than our previous maximum of 7 days. Our top product categories, DTG, embroidery, and all-over print products, are taking up to 3 weeks or longer for fulfillment as delays are being felt across our supply chain and industry-wide.
Our fulfillment partner’s are routing orders to where they’ll be fulfilled most efficiently, whether that’s to one of their in-house branches or a backup facility. They’ve also began gearing up to invest $4 million in new printing tech to help all their facilities increase capacity.
Keep in mind that with longer fulfillment and shipping times, orders might not make it on time for occasions like Father’s Day. We do apologize for this but we are pretty sure the Father in mind will understand considering the Pandemic.
We’re still seeing long fulfillment and shipping times at airplane tees and industry-wide. Our support team is doing their best to keep up with increased customer questions. Our average email response time has increased to about one day, and we’re not available on the phone. We try to keep chat available during US business hours on Mon-Fri, but periodically turn it off to catch up with queues.
Our fulfillment centers are working hard to safely increase their capacity and they’ve made good progress in the last month. In Charlotte, their goal is to increase daily printing output by 2,000 orders week over week. They’ve already grown DTG capacity by 20% and are working on improving more categories.
Even with all the steps they’ve done, it’ll still take time to bring fulfillment times back to normal. Some product categories are already there, especially products that they fulfill in Europe. Fulfillment is still taking long for the top categories: DTG, embroidery, and all-over printed apparel. Most of our products at airplane tees are DTG printing which is the hardest hit. Times to print have been up to a month.
Shipping is also taking longer than usual depending on where your orders are shipping to. Some positive news is that Latvia’s airlines have started to ease restrictions on flights, which means that we’ll be able to ship orders from Europe more frequently.

When unpacking a new shirt or hoodie with a direct-to-garment (DTG) print, you might notice a vinegar-like smell or an off-white residue. Don’t worry, that’s not unusual – it’s from a fixation agent applied during the printing process and it’s not permanent.
Fixation agent (sometimes known as pre-treatment) is used for all DTG prints across the industry. It helps the ink bond with the fabric, and without it, the ink would flake off the garment.
The solution is simply to wash the garment! Neither the residue nor the smell is permanent and both should go away after one wash. If the discoloration is noticeable, the quality control team will include a card explaining that it’s from the fixation agent. Here’s how it looks:
